Neil Gardner & ,}

Andrew Strauss, the England captain, is giving clever care to either Ajmal Shahzad, the Yorkshire seamer, will have his Test entrance tomorrow.

England contingency have one shift for the second Test opposite Bangladesh at Old Trafford after Tim Bresnan withdrew from the side that won at Lords on Monday by injury.

Shahzad, 24, could step up after being the 12th man for the initial Test but the experienced Ryan Sidebottom is an additional choice following the left-armers stop to the squad.

Strauss said: Obviously they are both in the patrol and both move incompatible attributes, that we are weighing up at the moment. Ryan Sidebottom is an experienced campaigner, we know flattering most what we are going to get from him and that experience competence be useful on this wicket.

On the alternative hand, Ajmal is new and sparkling and has been in the patrol for a while. This competence be an event to have a see at him. It is not a bad incident to be in. We are assured they could both do a good pursuit for us.

Shahzad played a one-day general in Bangladesh progressing this year but did not underline in the Test array in between the dual countries.

However, he is assured of being equates to to have the step up if called upon. I have had to be patient, but I goal I will have a possibility to infer myself in a game, he said. I am ready.

Sidebottom, a part of Englands successful World Twenty20 side last month, has been out of the Test group given confronting South Africa in January.

Steven Finns nine-wicket, man-of-the-match arrangement at Lords creates it expected that the 21-year-old will share the new round with James Anderson.

The good thing was he carried his form from Middlesex in to the Test match, Strauss said. He didnt play any differently, that equates to mentally he overcame the jump of personification general cricket flattering comfortably.

That is encouraging, but it is critical to contend it is flattering early in his Test career. Lets not set up him up to be the subsequent (Glenn) McGrath or (Curtly) Ambrose at this stage. He has got a lot of guidance to do.
